I began teaching graphic design courses at Tunxis in 1987. That was the same year I opened my graphic design business, Brooks Design. Back then, we didn't have computers. Everything was done by hand. (Ugh!)

After teaching a few years, I decided I wanted to obtain my Master's degree. So I stopped teaching and enrolled in the MALS program at Wesleyan University.

Fast forward to 2006. An opportunity materialized to teach Intro to Computer Graphics. I was excited to teach again! So much had changed since my early teaching days. I was eager to share knowledge and learn new things.

Fall 2010 I teach Intro to Computer Graphics, Type & Design I. I usually Visual Communications in the spring semester. My goal for this ePortfolio is to showcase my student's work; share observations and reflections.
