As taken from the NBYT web site….“On March 15, 2010, New Britain Youth Theater incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in Connecticut. Its purpose was to provide after-school programming to the Consolidated School District of New Britain, to produce a season of performances by and for children and young adults, and to offer drama classes and summer programs. NBYT is now a leading community and educational theater with programs including "Kids on Stage!" and "Little Kids on Stage!" productions, the NBYT Teen Company, Stage Performance classes, community outreach programs, and more.
