Project 1 Information System

I have chosen for my information system for project 1 to be the Company UBER. This is because

UBER with their applicayion

have developed a very clever information system. UBER is an

international transport network company founded in 2009 and can be used in around 64

countries. UBER gives drivers and customers a more flexible life by providing a platform link

between custome

rs and drivers . Drivers want customers and customers desire a ride on the go

let it be at a bar, beach , etc. With the UBER APP customers can find a ride closest to them ,

they can tract the location of the driver and see when they arrive. Drivers are a

ble to tract

where they must go for the pick up location. The UBER APP allows calls and texts to let

customer and driver communicate to accommodate a game plan. The UBER APP can be

accessed through the Iphone or Android. UBER APP allows customers to pay

from their card

and automatically does the deduction. UBER APP tracts how far

customers desired destination

is and appropriates the cost. New users get a discount for first time users . UBER is able to

analyse throught the app driver incentive programs a

nd decide which project should be

concentrated on. Customers through the app can seedrivers profile , reviews to see if the

driver has good reputation or bad one and drivers can review pasengers. Incentivises customers

and driver to act appropriately for

a good review. The better the review for a driver the moe

people will want them as a driver which means more money for them. Uber can tract driver

support , manage day to day issues of thousands of drivers on the system. To sum it all up UBER

through their

APP as a info system can tract whats going on between the interactions of drivers

and customers.
