Description of the Organization

I chose to complete my practicum with my experience as a freelance web designer/web consultant. Fulton Web Consulting was a project that I began last year when I noticed the lack of web presences for many local small businesses. I realized that many businesses did not even exist on search engines. I started by responding to local advertisements and through word of mouth by friends and family. I really had no idea what I was doing, but I figured that the worst that could happen was I looked foolish and learned valuable business experience.

The organizational structure and my role are the same. I make the business contacts, do the consultations, design, implement, invoice, and provide support. This can be overwhelming at times, but it also means that I can provide an intimate level of service that other larger companies can not.
