I was a top student and class officer at Tunxis Community College in the Dental Assisting Program. My love for the Dental field came about as I embarked on a long journey through many different dental specialty offices as a child and young adult. I finally chose a career in Dental Assisting because I realized how much caring and compassion is involved in the position. Also, my love for the healthcare field, art, and children made me feel right at home in the dental field.

    In the future, if time and money allow, I would like to earn a Bachelor's Degree and apply to Dental School. I have a great support system, including my long-term boyfriend, parents, sister, and close friends. They push me to reach for my goals with such optimism and challenge me along the way.

    In my free time I enjoy being with my family and friends, listening to music, and painting. My biggest weakness is that I sometimes care too much and my greatest strength is that I am extremely neat and organized. I absolutely adore being a Certified Dental Assistant and the oportunities it has to offer.
