My name is Courtney.  I have been at Tunxis since Fall of 2014 pursuing an Associate’s Degree in General Studies.  I am currently a full-time student enrolled at Tunxis Community College in Dental Assisting.  I want to have a career as a Dental Assistant and then go back to school to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.  I would love to work in Pediatrics.  I want to be able to teach people about the necessity of oral health care, and I believe teaching kids this is the first step to take in the process.  A quote I always go by is “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”  I believe my journey is within the Dental field, and I am excited to see where this field takes me.
