7th Project
29 November 2011
Here is the 6th project.
My reflection on this project:
The analysis and design phases went smoothly. I understood how to make everything on the forms, and how I was supposed to calculate everything. It was hard to apply the calculations to functions, though, which I didn't get a chance to learn in the previous chapter. My pseudocode translated well to Visual Basic, and I didn't encounter any errors. I knew how to translate everything I planned to do. Looking back on the chapter, I think I have learned well. I've still had a lot of trouble learning how to do functions, but I think I figured it out. Now that I understand it, I hope to be able to apply it to future assignments.

Oh, the confusion of turning in the wrong project and not noticing.
This is my second case project, but it's the chapter 1 project because I did the wrong one last time.
PDLC Fall 2011 Case Project 2 Speranza.pdf
And this is the reflective prompt for that project.

I like how you did your Gui everything came out good. I think the teacher wants more examples for the test part though.

Great work on the project. Nice work on figuring out what the problem was. Don't feel to bad about the try/catch method, I feel like I could use the method better than I already do.

Hi Chryss,
Great work on this project. Thanks for including your reflection as well.
I have to correct Albert's post - I've noticed that the quality of your work is always exceptional! Keep it up!

You did an awesome job on the project Chryss! I like how you added the "new releases" button to the design form. It fits well. You seem to be a hidden gem in the class, as your work is excellent but nobody sees it!!

Chryss,
Nice job on both your pseudocode and your reflection. When you have a minute, don't forget to add your reflection to this page.
