Me, Myself and I

I love my life. I was born in Poland. I don’t remember much about Poland, because I was very young. When I was four, my family decided that it would be a good idea to move to America. So, we packed up our belongings, and moved half way across the globe, to move in with my mother’s grandfather, in New York City, where I started school at P.S. 31. I stayed there for about five or six years. I would go shopping with my sister all the time, and get pizza. Her favorite was supreme pizza, and mine was pepperoni. One year, we went to the Bronx zoo, and enjoyed the animals with my family. Each winter my family would go to upstate New York, and go sledding and snowboarding. Every independence day, we would make a vacation to go camping and watch the fireworks at night. I finished P.S. 31 in fifth grade, and one night my mother had a family meeting saying that we were moving to Connecticut, next to her old friend who just bought a house there, and said there was a house she thought my mom would like right next door. So, my mom and my dad decided to help my mom’s friend move so they could go and look at the house that was for sale. About a month later, my mom bought the house and she told us that we have to pack up because we’re moving to New Britain, Connecticut. At first, I was very disappointed because I had so many friends that I had to leave behind, but I gave it a shot.

New Britain was like a whole new world to me, everything seemed different and a lot less noisy. In the new house, my family looked around and saw that there were a couple of changes that would need to make.  So, my dad and my sister went back to New York to live there because my dad still had a job, and my sister was still finishing school. Me, my mom, and my borther, stayed in Connecticut, because my brother helped my mom, and I started school already at Sacred Heart. I made new friends at Sacred Heart; the only thing I hated was that we had to wear school uniforms. After eighth grade, I graduated with my friends and we were all excited to start high school. I attended New Britain High School. At first, I was really scared because there were a lot of rumors that a lot of people like to beat up freshmen. During my sophomore year, I had a math class with this handsome guy named Brian. We started talking, and even thought he was older than me, I couldn’t stop having these feelings for him. During my junior year, and his senior year, we started going out, and we still date this day. Senior year came for me, and it was time to get a career in mind for the future, and to pick a college. I had a career set in mind for a long time, but I didn’t know the right college for me. After a while I talked to my guidance counselor, and she said Tunxis would be a good college for me and there not that expensive. So, I applied, and got accepted. I was very ecstatic. Then graduation from high school followed soon after that. My parents were very proud of me, and I was happy that I had the summer to get ready for college. During the summer, I found a job spent a lot of time with Brian, we went to a lot of different beaches, and went to see at least 5 movies at the movie theater. Summer was coming to an end and I was kind of prepared for college, but was very excited. In Closing, Tunxis Community College is very supporting, and with their help, I feel like I have the career set for me, and a future waiting for me.
